About Me
- Luís Lázaro Matos
- Born on 1987 in Évora. In 2005 has started the Sculpture BA course in Faculdadede Belas-Artes(University of Lisbon). In 2007 has changed to the BA Painting course, still in the same college. In 2008 has started again a BA Art Practice course at the Goldsmiths College, University of London. Has already participated in some collective exhibitionsin Lisbon and London.As made illustrations for television broadcasts (RTP –Portuguese National TV Channel) in between2006 and 2007. In 2009 as also done drawing animations for the television campaign of the portugueseleft wing political party (Blocode Esquerda). As won the 4thprize in Excellence In Drawing, with his work “The Dome”, atributtedby The Arts Club Mayfair in London on May 2009.Usually works in Drawing, Painting and Installation as studio practice. Currently lives in London and Lisbon.
